It is feeling breezy and chilly, definitely leather weather! Yes, we are in Deep Fall, with the weather folks calling it “snuggle season.” Sounds good to us! Get your leather on and come find someone to snuggle with. Even if all our Weirdos turn out to be too prickly for you, at least you’ll have a few interesting conversations!

We weather October like troopers, with a record-setting Saturday for HONK!, birthday parties and a wedding reception, a full month of Dark Water Tuesdays, our annual Pumpkin Carving Party, the triumphant return of the NYC Gay Craft Beer Lovers, and, our favorite day of the year, Halloween! Lucky had a float, in conjunction with Brooklyn Roasting Company and Abby’s new adventure, Hekate Café & Elixir Lounge! It was EPIC! And the after parade party was equally awesome, with the entire bar SCREAMING along with our amazing jukebox!

Now onto November! We’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving, hosting more Burning Man Happy Hours, featuring more poets at The Beaten Path, celebrating Aaron’s newest book with a reading on the 23rd, and, we’re sure, all kinds of other fun stuff for you! Stop by and say hi! We’re always eager to meet new Weirdos!

It’s Autumn. And it’s Decorative Gourd Season, motherfuckers! Yay! Doesn’t the city feels electric? We have so much on the calendar this month! Dark Water Tuesdays being October 5th, hosted by Father Vincent, with Paradox and Feo DJing. Ivan finally gets to host his retirement party, originally scheduled for March 19, 2020. Delphine debuts her new 2022 calendar. EVIMA hosts their first in-person event in ages with a Happy Hour. We’re holding our annual Costume & Clothing Swap on the 16th and our SIXTH Annual Pumpkin Carving Party on the 17th. We may even debut a piano bar type thing.We’ve got multiple birthday parties booked, a wedding reception, and we’re really looking forward to the return of our NYC Gay Craft Beer Lovers! And, of course, it’s Halloween! Keep an eye on our Events page for ALL the upcoming excitement! Cheers!

Welcome September!

Whoa. Isn’t in March that’s supposed to come in like a lion? September blew in from the south with Ida wreaking destruction and “biblical flooding.” Now we dry out and cross our fingers for a relatively peaceful month. Dunno how that’s gonna go with the enforcement of Key to NYC beginning on September 13. Please be prepared to show us your proof of vaccination in order to join us indoors. If not, you are welcome to hang out in our gazebo. Just wear a mask when you come inside to order or use the restroom. We are not too happy about having to be the Covid Cops — AGAIN! — so save your complaining for your local politicians. Our staff has been through enough already. Sorry to start on such a sour note, friends, but shit has been a bit stressful lately, wouldn’t you agree? Let’s keep it light and boozy and try to have a good time! Cheers!
