Join us this evening to celebrate David Sheinkopf’s memoir, Village Idiot. David will read from the book and sell signed copies.
Growing up in New York City offered David Sheinkopf a variety of opportunities for creative expression. Modeling at a young age and moving on to television commercials and soap operas as he grew older were natural progressions, but by his late teens, he felt the need to spread his wings and move to Los Angeles. At nineteen, he was starring in the hit series Falcon Crest. He appeared in more television shows until he worked in the Disney film Newsies, which put him on the big screen. With a voiceover career that grew as a strong sideline to hosting and design work, he felt life was going smoothly. His work as a writer has given him the voice he has looked for all his life, and becoming an executive producer has been the perfect way to turn that voice into reality.
