2019: It is more than the Season of the Witch...it has become the Season of the Crone! From the rise of 50-something models to the increasing support for Elizabeth Warren, to Dark Horse Comics' recent release of their super heroine "Crone," "women of a certain age" are no longer dismissively "certain," they are vociferous. Roaring, even. And most certainly no longer silent.

The event will begin in Tompkins Square Park with a public ritual, designed to summon the spirits and pique curiosity. From the park we will promenade, either to Lucky or to Bedlam, depending on the level of interest generated by our promotions and by YOU.

Once at our venue, DJ Shakey will be spinning songs by culturally iconic crones: Patti Smith, Debbie Harry, Cher and more.

If you are 50 or older, we invite you to compete in our Crone Coronation. Who will be our Crone Queen? Dress to dominate and demonstrate your superpower! The winner will be crowned by one of EditrixAbby's custom headpieces, draped with a delightful pageant banner and receive accolades from all in attendance.

We will have a tarot reader or two, witchy vendors and who knows what else? PLEASE reach out if you would like to participate! We want this event to be as inclusive as possible. Art, performance, spoken word, wares? What have YOU got that you'd like to share with our audience?
