Details, according to your host: "An Evening with me? Not exactly. I have been Smooth Imperial for a couple of years now, and have been pushing it on Instagram, where I joined a group that is using social media and our love of Star Wars as a Force for good. This group -- Gentlemen of The Force -- inspired me to do more. This is a party for NYC and surrounding area Star Wars cos-players to get together and make a difference for The Make a Wish Foundation.  

The evening starts at 4:00pm at Lucky on Avenue B in the East Village, where we will have two photographers on hand to take shots of all the action, with Star Wars backdrop for the shoot. You will get to meet the rest of the attendees and get studio quality shots of you doing what you do best.

Around 6:30pm we will head out as a group into the East Village where we will do some more fundraising in the neighborhood and around Tomkins Square Park. With the photographers in tow, we will shoot outside, take donations and get shots of you in an iconic New York City location.

We will be openly encouraging people to come along and take a photo with one of our attendees and donate to a good cause.

Around 9:00pm we head back to Lucky on Avenue B for drinks and dancing... 

I was going to have this be a ticketed event but have instead decided to aid two good causes: obviously Make a Wish, and also Lucky on B who, without the kind use of the bar, this event wouldn't be happening.

There will be no cover charge, but a suggested donation of $10 to our Make a Wish efforts."
